work has started and its kinda like my first serious job.

my very first first in 2008 wasn't really considered cause i was practically playing around and having fun in the kitchen for 3 days.

just started on monday and its like GOSH, school all over again. training was horrible cause we were like going through ultra dry stuff but i am learning alot definitely. we always got sleepy after lunch. HAHA. not just me! everyone.

and its nice cause there's bang around, and the other temp staffs are nice too!

i got attached to this buddy today and he's really nice. he looked really scary at first but nah, not at all. haha. and he's like super knowlegeable and all so yeah. that's making me real stressed. Bang's buddy totally looks like mr wong. hahaha. my old math teacher. LOL.

so far its great! but its really tiring so i hope i can cope. ohhwells. i'm reading my notes! hahaha. NOTES! seriously! just like back to school!

my new year began with me burnt LOL. but i love the water, i love the sun. and i remember how to cycle! hahaha. :D

30th dec's concert was great (other than my damn-it-i'm-f-ing-angry-at-myself-cause-it-was-so-loud-which-spurred-me-to-sing-better-for-the-next-few-songs-mistake)

even though i kept complaining about practices being too tiring cause we had to sing for 2 choirs, i had alot of fun really. learning new songs, singing old ones, and listening to rhoda complain about the chorale gowns which, like what everyone else said makes us looks like aunties =/

a few of us actually already decided, hey nope, i'm not joining. but recently, i've decided to give it a lil more thought cause its not as bad as what many say really. i realised vjchoir played a really huge part in my life for the past 3 1/2 years. and if i really decide not to join chorale, it'll be like losing a connection to alot alot alot of exciting things. i'll be meeting less choir people. i'll be doing less proper singing with the correct technique(that's assuming i've been using the correct one). i'll have less esplanade passes in my collection hehhh. i'll have less motivation to lose weight trying to fit in my gown. i'll see less of mr kwei :( . i'll hear less nice music cause i'm not those who will go youtube choral music unless i'm singing it. i'll miss siglap and i'll miss eating oldchangkee currypuffs even though i know i shouldn't be. i'll miss so many things that i haven't realise. well who knows, if i stop going to siglap, i might miss that big guy who stinks =Pp.

it wouldn't be as fun if no one from our batch joins. its just different when each batch experiences different things. my batch will never forget what happened in wales. just like how the previous batch will remember italy forever. the fun times are always when we reminisce the past together. like "hey remember blahblahblah, ohman its so stupid". i just did that with sophia the other day when we were literally walking around in circles at raffles city waiting for eliz. (: it was sweet. sophia said, i wonder who from our batch will come back and carol next time. and haha maybe we'll bring our kids or something. ohh damn if we're pregnant we can't fit into the gown. hahahaha. its only wishful thinking unless we still make the effort to remember it in our lives. i will.

so i've decided(and maybe bang as well?). i'll join, but it doesn't matter if i'm not like a permanent super-enthu member. i'll go for their projects if i can just like cc and nono. but it'll be good to have this common thing so i won't forget what this choir gave me, what i've learnt, so quickly. (: and like what a super-alumni told me, try to get more people to join cause they need new bloods. cause people will slowly leave eventually. if new batches stop joining, will it disappear one day? i won't want that to happen. i don't want to see a reunion at raffles with only vjchoir on its own. so i know i'll be there and i know more people will be too.

people who aren't committed choir members won't understand this bond we have with vjchoir, cause its really a different choir. its like our family to so many of us. we spend so much time with each other, so much that you can't imagine. we create music that make people cry, music that entertains, music that makes people shout encore(not always). some music we make makes people sleep too. haha. we could never have achieved this if we didn't share the same goal, if we didn't have a bond. even if there are people who kept saying "i hate choir", they love it deep in their heart cause choir gave them so many great friends. (: and i love mr kwei cause he let me in and gave me this chance to experience so much. (:

surprised bang at 12 midnight like how we did for ced and steven. but we had many many nice big candles this time. haha. so romantic. cool shitx lar. but the walking-from-j8-to-her-house-on-my-heels part was horrible. wrong pair of heels for today man. but its worth it for bang! love love love. it feels just so great to be the first to wish your loved ones on their birthday. spending the nice moment when the clock strikes 12 with the people you love most. it feels great to know that you have so many who are there for you, care for you and love you. and you know how blessed you are, blessed with the one/few/many who loves you.

I AM LIKE DAMN TIRED.
cruise was fun! and tiring. shall blog about it some other day.
and after we came back in the afternoon, we went to sing for the world youth choral festival thingy. something like that. i think the actual performance sounded better than our rehearsal? but i thought yoru was quite gross? rahhhh. =(

everyones has their own problems and i have mine too.
but sometimes you'd rather not tell your closer friends cause their problems are much worse. yes.
ling needs someone to hug, she doesn't want to be that strong girl all the time, she has times when she just wants to cry out real loud not softly tearing in the middle of the night. she needs someone to listen to her. just for awhile's fine. she needs some assurance, someone to tell her that everything will be alright. it'll turn out fine.

went to watch 海角七號 cape no.7 at vivo today with wayne, rr and fred.
we went all the way to vivo just to watch that movie cause tampines or pasir ris both don't have. lol. everyone was like late so i went to get the tickets first and gosh. lucky we decided to meet at 8 for the 8.45 movie. if not we wouldn't have gotten any tickets man. i bought the last four. BUT. the horrible thing is, we got the first row seats. damn! but ohwells. at least it was a good movie. original plot and good music.

haha. there's like 40% off the dim sum and seafood menu. super worth it! its cheap leh. haha. and the food's good too! yayyy. and i had my favourite MANGO PUDDING. yumyum. by the way. on weekdays usually, there's 50% off dim sum lunch too! cause its public holiday its 40% so yup! go for it! haha. LOVE the xiaolongbao, carrotcake, prawndumpling, siewmai etcetcetc. haha. wooohoo!

i had a super random date with zp yesterday lar! haha.
she was supposed to meet me to return me new moon, then in the end we ended up at bukit batok. lol. i was supposed to go there cause my parents were at my uncle's house lar.

i like it. haha.
only dislike 蛇舞. and i think its cause i don't like the genre. haha.
the rest's kinda good. omg. and i love some of the lyrics. =)))) not so crappy. haha. its an album worth buying i guess as in i didn't regret buying lar. the songs are not so much of a breakthrough though. but i gotta say that he really CAN sing. there's this song. omg. 魔術先生. quite a stupid song BUT there are some phrases he did it so well, like the way he does it lar. maybe its just me. haha. but there's another song 花海. there's this part he sounds like he's gonna crack or something. maybe its just that technique or whatever. its a no-no for me definitely. haha. and there's another cool song. its about JOKER as in playing cards joker. the music is like tango-ish? haha. cool. overall its a good one. =))) definitely better than the previous. haha.

i made lobster salad, salsa with mussel, super a lot of sandwiches, cut super alot of tomatoes, cucumbers, wash prawns, made some seafood platter thingy, cut mangoes, wash fruits, cut onions, made like those individual food for cocktail thingy, made vietnamese rolls and manymany many more. do super alot lar. haha.
it was damn damn damn tiring. ohman. my finger joints are aching still cause i held the knife for damn long. haha.
and my arms are aching cause i had to carry heavy heavy trays of stuff in the kitchen.
but it was fun lar. haha.

F1 on friday was so-so.
cause its friday mar.
only practice sessions. haha.
cause my cousin bought tickets but he went overseas to study, so he left the tickets for his dad. but his dad who is my uncle only wants to go for the last night. and one of his sons wanna go for saturday. so left friday for me lor.

SHOPPING is a totally good way to relief stress and to make someone feeel better.
of course only when u have enough money.
it sucks when ur pockets are really really tight.

but i hate shops which indicates like super BIG that there's like SALE up to 70% or whatever. but when u step in there its like there's only UBER few items on sale.
it sucks totally. bleh.

i want that bag from SPRINGFIELD which is totally affordable BUT its like my one week's allowance. seriously have to consider.
i want that super nice bag from PORTER, but its like $280. puh-lease. even if i can afford, i won't want to spend that much. BUT its seriously quite very very nice. and the quality's good toooo.
and i want that belt from FCUK $79.
and i want i want i want.
